BC-32590 Fiberlok is a universal mechanical splice which can be used wherever quick and secure splice connections are required. Assembly time is typically less than half a minute after preparing the fiber ends. The splice can be used for both singlemode and multimode fiber with a 125µm diameter. It will accommodate any combination of fibers with coating diameters from 250mm to 900mm. In addition, the Universal Optical Fiber Splice incorporates a single cleave length for splicing both 250 and 900 micron coated fibers and provides the ability to "re-position" fibers for increased splicing yields.
